Vintage Japanese wall art is as delicate as it is beautiful and we have curated a stunning collection that will work beautifully well as living room wall art and bedroom canvas prints. These old prints have so much character they would work perfectly as a gift.
We have a wonderful selection of artists who were trailblazers of their time, and the quality of their art was so beautiful that its still very relevant for today’s home décor styles and tastes.
Some of our favorite prints are from Japanese artist Ogawa Kazumasa, (1860 – 1929), who was formally a printer, publisher and a photographer was one of the pioneers of photomechanical printing. If you are unfamiliar with this, it was a method of reproducing a photograph mechanically, using ink and a printer’s press.
